We compliment each other very well and never know what’s going to happen when we start, but at the end of the day we are always excited about what we have created.

Sixty originally came from a background of hip hop and rap. But has drawn from a variety of music that has inspired him such as Pink Floyd and The Beatles to name a few.

In his own writing and production he has found ways to mesh all this together to be his own cohesive sound. With the release of “Saturn Synopsis” he has created a musical work of art that takes you on a journey.

For the recording of this album Sixty brought in numerous artists and friends to lend their talents including Zack Gingrich on guitar, Sean Saman for Cello and a rap feature with Godchild. I had the honor of Co-producing and also performing on his colorful compositions. Also to note that the amazing artwork was done by Jason Sullivan.

If you are looking for some new music to take you some place else & inspire you, this is it. From what i hear you may get new music from Sixty sooner than later!!!

With Front man Jordan Trevino and Phil Altenburg on drums and Cristion Rocky on bass this three piece packs one energetic punch that’ll get you movin’.

From the moment we first talked and they explained what style of music they do I was hooked and excited to work with them. Needles to say they did not let me down.

If you put together jangly guitar chords over a big back beat, add a gritty bass, weave some honest lyrics with unforgettable melodies & smooth haunting background vocals, add a splash of reverb and keep it jagged around the edges you get the basic sound of Hot Jam Factory. But they are not done there…. these songs can go from sounding like old blues tunes or lean towards raw garage rock. When I hear one of their songs for the first time, I never know what we will end up doing with it.

Last week marked the start of Nathan Veshecco’s fifth studio album. Nathan brought me a handful of great song demos. I found it hard to narrow them down to the best songs for the album since they were all so good. We ended up picking a handful of songs that we both felt fit together best as an album. Like “Love, With Questions” we will be taking a more live or broken down approach to the songs.

We started out by recording the songs that will most likely stay acoustic guitar & vocal, which were done live and finished in 1 or 2 takes. Yesterday we jumped into recording the first of the drums with Marc Seeley for the songs that will have more of a band production. In the next week or two we will continue working on additional drum tracks for the album. After that we will proceed into the overdub stage which will include some guest performers and even a mini orchestra!!!

You can follow the progress of the album on Nathan’s Twitter page. This album was made possible by Nathan’s Kickstarter campaign and very supportive fans.

We Started working on the album and drum tracks early April and completed the rest of the recording by the end of the month, then jumped into mixing & mastering in May.

Working with Ravi is always a fun experience. His creative ideas and search for new soundscapes never stops. He has found his own unique sound and writing style that i think would appeal to just about anyone. His songs range from intimate vocals with a lush background to big crunchy guitars with an aggressive sound.

Phil made another trip to the Central PA area a few weeks ago and was thinking of adding another song to the album. Since the song is a solo acoustic guitar & vocal song, he wanted to take advantage of being in the area, and being able to track it with me at Full Tilt Productions.

Phil came in with an idea of what kind of a sound he was looking for, and played me the song so I could get a feel for it. After getting the mics placed, and a sound we were both excited about, we had the guitar track laid down quickly & moved on to recording lead & background vocals. These consisted of a smooth, light hearted lead vocal performance and back ground vocals for the interlude parts that we echoed and reverbed out during mixing for certain parts of the song.

The song “Call Me Crazy” and an interview with Phil were featured on the radio show Fresh Set last week airing on 98.9 WQLV with J.D. Cooper & JMC

Here is a little sample of the song that will be included on the full length album.

Greg decided to record this album differently than he did in the past with his others. He has a very nice rich sounding Yamaha CS 8’2″ sitting in his living room that he has always composed on but always chose to go to a studio setting to record. This time around he wanted to be able to record at his own pace and do it when the inspiration hit. So this lead us to testing different microphone combinations and recording techniques to experiment with on his piano until we found the right sound Greg was looking for.

We started mixing most of the songs last month but Greg felt he had more to write and add to the album so we held off on finishing it until he wrote & recorded new songs to finish the collection.

“The Spectrum Of Love” has 15 great songs on it that capture Greg’s writing & playing at it’s truest & most comfortable form. Not to mention you will find a few happy accidents when mother nature decided to be a part of Greg’s music because of being set in a beautiful country valley. Which in my opinion added even more honestly and character into the music.

Most of this package highlights stand out tracks from his first four studio albums and itunes singles releases. Which i was behind the mixing board for most of. He also recorded three brand new songs with me specifically for this compilation. As a bonus Nathan thought it would be a great idea to record a conversation between the two of us looking back on the start & continuation of his & my career to add on to the package.

Nathan & I have been working together for 10 years now and it’s a perfect example of two creative people building a great working relationship & friendship. Which is important to me with all the artists i work with.

He released his new album a few weeks ago and has been promoting himself locally and in the Miami Fl. area creating a buzz about his music.

Music started as a hobby for him then quickly became a passion. He has only been rapping a little over a year but has quickly found his voice and sound as an artist through the process of doing this album.

Right after we finished his 1st release he decided to start writing an original song with me. We started writing immediately and came up with a song we both felt very strong about. I am currently producing the beat and music for it. We plan to release it this summer.
